How can I look my CIT Password up?

Look up CIT Password

 Note: If you have forgotten your CIT password, you can change  it on this page yourself. In our Wiki you will find instructions for changing the CIT password.

1. Thunderbird

In Thunderbird you can read his saved passwords by selecting the Preferences menu under Edit.

In the category Security, you then go to Saved Passwords, where you can get an overview of the stored login data.

If you look for the identifier that interests you, you can display the password via Show Passwords. This asks if the user really wants to continue with his request.

2. Firefox

In Firefox, right-click 0.png on the top bar and select Preferences.

In the new window  Saved Logins  under Privacy & Security offers the desired functionality.

At this point you look for the login to which the password is to be communicated, and via Show Passwords and another confirmation you get to the forgotten data.

3. Chrome

First open the Settings.

Now you can open the advanced settings menu with the button left  2settings.png  and under Advanced access the section Passwords and forms.

In the first field Manage Passwords leads to the passwords stored in the browser.

By right-clicking on the eye, the respective password becomes visible to the user.
