Look up the CIT Password

 Note: If you have forgotten your CIT password, you can change it on this page yourself. In our Wiki, you will find instructions for changing the CIT password.

1. Thunderbird

In Thunderbird, you can view his saved passwords by selecting Edit > Preferences.

In the Security category, go to Saved Passwords to view an overview of the stored login data.

If you look for the identifier that interests you, you can display the password via Show Passwords. This asks if the user really wants to continue with his request.

2. Firefox

In Firefox, right-click on the top bar and select Preferences.

In the new window, under Privacy & Security, Saved Logins offers the desired functionality.

At this point, you look for the login to which the password is to be communicated, then use Show Passwords and another confirmation to get to the forgotten data.

First, open the Settings.
