Reset password for your RBG account

Note: You can change your RBG (in.tum / ma.tum) password yourself on this page. In our Wiki you will find instructions for changing the RBG password.

If you have lost the credentials (username and/or password for <login>@in.tum.de / <login>@ma.tum.de>) for your RBG account and it is not possible to change it yourself, the RBG Helpdesk in the FMI (Mathematics and Informatics) Building can set a new password for you. You will have to authenticate yourself by presenting a valid government ID document.

Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for the new password to become effective.

You can reach us in the FMI building, Room 00.07.036 every weekday between 08:00 and 18:00.

For employees: If it is not possible for you to come to the FMI Building, in exceptional cases it is possible that you empower an administrator from the chair that is responsible for your account to request a new password for your account and transmit it to you in a secure way. You must plausibly explain why it is not possible for you to come to the FMI Building in person.
